Caramel Apple Cider Cake - SLICE (Cakes & Coffee)

This cake is inspired by the most amazing apple cider doughnuts I had in New England some years ago at an orchard farmstand in Maine. 

It starts with an apple cider butter cake perfumed with cinnamon and allspice. Then a tart apple crémeux and a salted caramel mousse -- perfect to complement the apple.

An appetizing mirror glaze and homemade Honeycrisp apple chips finish this off for a delectable autumn cake that will put everyone in their chilly weather happy place.
