Nouveau Red Velvet
The classic Red Velvet gets an update here. Moist crimson buttermilk cake with a touch of brute cocoa, a thin layer of slightly sweetened cream cheese, then a feather-light mascarpone mousse. All coated in a crimson velveteen finish worthy of the cake's name. Once you try this version you'll be hard pressed to go back to store bought!
